Wanda Watson

SHELBY- Mrs. Wanda Jean Watson, 68, of 222 College Ave., died Wed., May 16, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. A native of Mitchell Co. she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Lennis Stafford Ledford. She retired from Hoechst Celanese.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Pittman.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her husband, Larry Watson of the home; son, Matthew Todd Watson; daughter, Deborah Philbeck McAbee, both of Shelby; two brothers, Joe Ledford and wife Juanita and Larry Ledford and wife Christina, all of Spruce Pine; and granddaughter, Andrea Megan McAbee of Shelby.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES: Sunday, 2pm, at Sunset Cemetery

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Saturday, 5-6:30pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at her home.
