SHELBY – Mrs. Virginia Nell Hedrick, 79, of N. Morgan St., died Fri., Feb. 1, 2013 at Peak Resources of Shelby. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lola Pearl Falls Ramsey. She worked as a nursing assistant and was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church of Shelby.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Ramsey Blanton; and brother, Charles Eugene Ramsey Sr.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her nephew, Charles “Speedy” Ramsey Jr. and wife Nadine of Kings Mountain; niece; Mary Beth Ramsey of Hickory.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Monday, 1pm, at Ascension Lutheran Church
VISITATION: The family will receive friends following the service, at the church.
CLERGY: The Rev. Jeff Erbskorn
MEMORIALS: Ascension Lutheran Church, 300 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC 28150
FUNERAL HOME: Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.
