CHARLOTTE-Clemmie Virginia Costner, 87, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at her home in Charlotte. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Clem and Ada Devine Costner. She retired in Oct. 1991 from Bell South, now AT&T, after 40 years of service.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jewel B. Costner; and brothers, William, Robert, and Warren Costner.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her nieces, Stephannie Costner of Shelby , Cristy Ammons and husband Johnny, and Cherrilynn Costner of Ga.; and nephew, Bobby Bridges and wife Sharlene of Gastonia.
GRAVESIDE SERVICES: A graveside funeral service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, at Rose Hill Memorial Park
VISITATION: The family will receive friends following the service, at the cemetery
FUNERAL HOME: Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby
