SHELBY- Mr. Tillman B. “Bill” Turner, 76, of 135 Dyer Drive, died Saturday, May 3, 2008 at home. A native of Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Tillman Ben Turner and Mattie Lou Dyer Turner. He was retired from the Dover Mill and was a member of the Shelby Seventh Day Adventist.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents, three brothers, Thurman, Clarence, and “Ben” Broadus Turner, and a sister, Ruby Moses preceded him in death.

SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife, Reba E. Irvin Turner of the home; a son, Scott Turner and wife, Jane, of Shelby; a daughter, Teresa Lastine and husband, Robert, of Collegedale, Tenn; a brother, Don Lee “Johnny” Turner of Shelby; seven grandchildren, Jason Michael Turner, Nicholas Lastine, Megan Lastine, Caitlin Lastine, Carrie McKinney, John Cole McKinney, Garret Case McKinney; a great-grandchild, Zoie McKinney; and a number of nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm Monday (5/5) at the home.

FUNERAL: The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, (5/6), at Shelby Seventh Day Adventist.
