Thom Deaver

SHELBY-Thom Deaver, 72, died Saturday, October 1, 2022 at his home. A native to Cleveland County, he was the son of the late John and Mary Deaver. He served in the Army, was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, he worked as a horse trainer for many years and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his son, John Pasdon. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Maxine Deaver; son, Christopher Pasdon and girlfriend Marsha Lanier of Fort Lawn, SC; daughter, Jessica St.Cin and husband Dustin of Oklahoma; sister Myra Cantrell; and grandchildren Michael Pasdon, Zachary St.Cin and Bayleigh St.Cin. Memorial services will be held 2pm, Thursday, October 6, 2022 at New Hope Baptist Church, with the Rev. Russ Bradley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the church.
