Thelma Owens

KINGS MOUNTAIN-Thelma Eubanks Owens, 91, died Wednesday, December 2, 2021 at Alexandria Place of Gastonia. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Hullender Eubanks. Thelma was a loving mother and grandmother who was a member of Pathway Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Sprouse, Albany McKeehan, and Carl Owens; son, William Sprouse; grandson, Drayton Sprouse; and great granddaughter, Rosa Lee Sprouse. She is survived by her sons, Arthur Sprouse and wife Genetta of Bessemer City and Dennis Sprouse and wife Becky of Clover, SC; daughter, Renee Jackson of Fort Mill, SC; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and cat, Sue-Sue. A graveside service will be held 2PM, Tuesday December 7, 2021, in Mountain Rest Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Harmon officiating.
