Thelma B. Mcdaniel

SHELBY- Thelma Bolton McDaniel, 74, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at Testa Family Hospice House. A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rebekkah Black Bolton. She retired from Fasco Controls and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clayton McDaniel; and sister, Susie Hilderbrand

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving daughter, Jackie McSwain and husband Scott of Shelby; sisters, Anne Teague and husband Dennis of Charlotte, and Bobbie Keough of Bessemer City; brothers, Butch Bolton and wife Peggy of Gastonia, and Jimmy Bolton; grandchildren, Wyatt and Travis McSwain, and Ross White; and many nieces and nephews

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 2pm, Wednesday, at Bethel Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 12:30-2pm, Wednesday, at the church

BURIAL: will follow in Sunset Cemetery

CLERGY: Dr. Tim Sims will officiate
