Sunny Davenport Wallace

GROVETOWN, GA – Mrs. Sunny Davenport Wallace, 25, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Heartland Hospice in Georgia. Mrs. Wallace was a native of Shelby, daughter of the late Darryl Davenport and Priscilla Wilson. She was a 2001 graduate of Burns High School and a member of the Burns High School Band. Mrs. Wallace attended Shiloh Baptist Church. She became a CNA while living in Oklahoma and was a devoted Army wife.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Irene Wilson.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband, SSG Zygmunt Christopher Wallace, Jr., her son, Giancarlo Wallace and stepson, Christopher Moses, all of Grovetown; brother-in-law, Fred Wallace; sister-in-law, Jessica Wallace; father-in-law, Zygmunt C. Wallace, Sr., all of Shelby; mother-in-law, Patricia Petrozzi Wallace of Grovetown, GA; grandparents, Fred and Carmella Petrozzi of Sayreville, NJ; grandmother, Connie Mae Surrant; aunts, Wandra Davenport Taylor and Shelia Ann Degree; uncles, Steve Degree, and Ralph (Pete) Wilson; and cousin, Geraldine Wilson, all of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Poplar Srpings Baptist Church. Cousins will be pallbearers.

BURIAL: Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
