SHELBY – Michael Steve Rabb,72, died Sunday , Sept.13, 2015, at his home. A native of Shelby, he was the son of the late JC and Bernice Rabb. He was a loving and devoted husband to Judy Hollifield Rabb for close to 52 years.
Steve was a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church in Shelby and a faithful attendee of Ocean Lakes Church Service when at Myrtle Beach. Steve worked as a supervisor for 30 years at JP Stevens, 18 years at Kemet Electronics and three years at Bali – Kings Mountain.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Rabb.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Hollifield Rabb; sons, Michael Rabb and wife Bettie and Chris Rabb and wife Julie; and grandchildren, Thomas, Emily, Will, Kendall, Laura and John.
The family will receive friends 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby and other times at his home.
Services will be private to the family only with Dr. J. Eric Davis. Burial will also be private to the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent in his honor to Ocean Lakes Campground Ministries, 6001 S. Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29575.
