Shirley Wilson

GASTONIA- Shirley Falls Wilson, 81, passed away Sunday July 31, 2016 at Caramont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Ira Jefferson and Bertha Jane Culberson Falls. She was a member of Penley’s Chapel Church in Kings Mountain and a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Evans Wilson, Jr.; one daughter, Joy Lancaster; four brothers, Harold, Doyt, James, and Roy Falls; three sisters, Eloise Acuff, Ruth Navy, and Joyce Hilliard.

SURVIVED: She is survived by one son, Thomas Evans Wilson, III of Gastonia; one daughter, Susan Allen, husband Rev. Doug Allen of Kings Mountain; one brother, Bill Falls and wife Alohma ; five grandchildren, Emily, Steven, Jake, Matthew, and Allison; two great grandchildren, Jackson and Carmen; one great grandchild.

SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held, 2pm Wednesday at Penley’s Chapel with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service at the church
