SHELBY- Sandy Phillips, 58, of Lawndale-Caser Road, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Hospice of Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Margaret Stroup Bowen. She worked at PPG for 38 years.
PRECEDED: in addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Mike Bowen.
SURVIVED: She is survived by two sons, Chris Rippy and wife Susan and Ashley Willis all of Shelby; two sisters, Brenda Zimmerman and husband Danny of Concord, and Jeanette Chandler and husband Butch of Lawndale; one grandchild, Sierra Rippy.
SERVICES: There will be no service for Ms. Phillips, however the family will receive friends Saturday 4-5:30 pm at Clay Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
