Sandy Griffin

SHELBY: Sandy Hendrick Griffin, 67, died Thursday, April 13, 2023 at her home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of Dot Hamrick Hendrick of Shelby and the late Charles Hendrick. She was a lifetime member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Walt Griffin of the home; son, Wilson Griffin of Shelby; daughter, Lee Ann Morris and husband John of Blythewood, SC; sisters, Jane Szymborski and husband Paul and Patti Thompson and husband John, both of Shelby; and granddaughter, Olivia Morris. A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 17, 2023 in Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Julie Roberts officiating. Memorials may be made to Sulphur Springs U.M.C.
