SHELBY- Sandra Marlene Allen, born on May 25, 1947, in Cleveland County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, at the age of 79.

A devoted homemaker, Sandra found immense joy in sewing and creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family and friends. Her home was always open, and her caring nature made everyone feel like they belonged. Family was everything to Sandra, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Babysitting her grandkids brought her immense joy.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Raleigh and Ruby Millwood, husband, James Harold Allen, and her beloved son, Michael Keith Allen. She is survived by her sons, Christopher Lee Allen and his wife Suzanne, and Timothy Shawn Allen. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Christopher Luke Allen, Zachary Dean Allen, Joshua Harold Allen, and Nikki Allen-Turner.

A private service will be held for family members to honor Sandra's life and cherish the memories shared with her. As a fiercely protective and loving mother and grandmother, Sandra will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, offering support and love to everyone around her.

Sandra's memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
