Ruth M. Head

EARL- Miss Ruth M. Head, 74, of Earl, died Friday, April 27, 2007 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Cleveland County, and retired from Celanese Corp. She was a member of Putnam Memorial Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU, Pairs & Spares Senior Group, Willing Workers Sunday School Class, and enjoyed volunteering and spending time at the senior center.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Parents; Robert Young Head and Mattie Matilda Davis Head, sister; Iver Mae Rippy.

SURVIVORS: Sister; Shirley H. Davis of Earl, and a brother; J.C. Head of the home, 5 nieces, 3 nephews, 8 great nieces, 4 great nephews.

VISITATION: One hour prior to the service.

FAMILY HEADQUARTERS: other times at the home of her sister, Shirley Davis, of 3031 Blacksburg Rd.

FUNERAL: Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

BURIAL: New Hope Baptist Cemetery.
