Ruth Williams

SHELBY: Ruth F. Williams, 95, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Caromont Health in Gastonia. A native of Oconee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Era Teat Freeman. She retired from the Dover Mill, was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and enjoyed working as a beautician in her community for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers; and one sister. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 1pm, Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. J. Eric Davis officiating.
