KINGS MOUNTAIN- Rosa Foster Price, born on October 19, 1945. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a profound commitment to family and community. She passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026, at the age of 80, surrounded in the peace that she was ready to meet her Lord and that she was loved and cherished by her family. She felt every prayer lifted for her.

Rosa was known for her vibrant spirit, her beautiful blue eyes and her endless smile which could warm anyone's heart. She held a particular fondness for Traveling, playing Bingo, and never passed up a shopping trip or dinner eating out with family.

Her heart found its home within the Allen Memorial Baptist Church, where she was cherished by the members and called them family. Rosa loved her church family deeply, and especially enjoyed tending to the babies in the nursery, and taught Sunday school in her earlier years. Her faith was an integral part of her life, providing solace and strength not just to her but to those around her. She practiced forgiveness and not holding a grudge and she never held back her opinion.

She delighted in family functions and treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Rosa had an exceptionally loving and forgiving heart, and her warmth extended beyond her family to encompass her sweet neighbors and special friends Janie Philbeck, Mary Helen, and Linda. Leon and Wanda who she cherished as well.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Violet Foster, and her brothers, Bo, Thomas and Roy Jenkins, and Billy Foster, along with her sisters, Ann Munzer and Audrey Golden.

Rosa's memory will live on through her surviving family: her daughters Barbara Vestal; Linda Norris and Tammy Cordell (Tony); her sons David Vestal and Michael Vestal. Also her sisters Grace Lamb (Donnie), and Ruth Ledford. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her grandchildren Angie, Haley, Josh, Cory, Brayden, Jennifer, Kala, Nacole, Chelsea, Carlee, Caitlyn, Sumer, and Alisha, as well as numerous great-grandchildren. She truly loved them and prayed they would all find peace in the Lord. Not to be forgotten is her precious dog Diva, who brought so much joy to her every single day.

Rosa Foster Price was a beacon of love and kindness, a woman whose life was a testament to the power of family, faith, and friendship. Her forgiving heart and generous spirit touched all who knew her. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of love is enduring, a gift she leaves to all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Special thanks to David, Linda, Tammy and Haley for all your support in her last days and for honoring her wishes.
