Roberta Hill

ASHEVILLE-Mrs. Roberta Willis Hill, 92, formerly of Crescent View Retirement Community and Asheville Manor in Asheville, and Lattimore St., Shelby, died Thurs., Aug. 9, 2012 at Care Partners Hospice of Asheville. A native of Gaston Co., she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Lela Oaks Willis. She was a former employee of First Union National Bank and retired from Cleveland Memorial Hospital as the front receptionist at the age of 82. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church over 60 years.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Anderson Hill; son, Michael Hill; daughter in law, Debbie Hill; five brothers; five sisters.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Bob Hill and wife Louise of St. Paul, Minn.; daughter in law and caregiver, Joy Hill of Asheville; granddaughter, Shana Blake Hill of Ca.; two grandsons, Sam Hill of Ca., and David Hill of Asheville.

SERVICES: Sunday, 3pm, at Bethel Baptist Church, Shelby

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Sunday, 1:30-3pm, at the church.
