Richard A. Poole

SHELBY- Richard Poole, 83, died Thursday, May 11, 217 at Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy. A native of Cleveland Co., he was born to the late Arthur and Dollie Wilson Poole. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Danny Poole and sisters Jeanette Ledbetter and Becky Poole.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Audrey Lancaster Poole, of the home; son Jerry Poole and wife Donna of Gaffney; daughter Yolanda Poole of Shelby; sisters Barbara Greene of Florida and Ann Hojnacki and husband Steve of South Carolina; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

MEMORIAL SERVICES: Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
