Ray Causby

SHELBY: Eddie “Ray” Causby, 78, died Monday, September 6, 2021 at Peak Resources in Cherryville. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Ed and Sallie Porter Causby. Ray was a kind and gentle man who never met a stranger. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Nesby, Joe and Sam Causby; and sisters, Gertrude Petty, Sue Henderson and Florine Causby. He is survived by his sisters, Margaret Lee and Wanda Lewis, both of Shelby; and aspecial niece, Sheila Davis and her family, along with many other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11am, Thursday, September 9, 2021 in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside.
