SHELBY- Randy Ray Burleson, a spirited soul who filled our lives with laughter and love, was born on March 16, 1956, in Greensboro, NC. He passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on April 22, 2026, in Anderson, SC, surrounded by his cherished family.

Randy was a man proud of his time served in the National Guard. He was a man of many passions and a heart full of joy. His love for Harley Davidson motorcycles was matched only by his devotion to music, especially the timeless magic of Rock-N-Roll. With his long locks flowing, his daughter affectionately called him "Fabio," a testament to the lively spirit and style he exuded. Randy had a sharp wit and always had a dad joke ready to bring a smile to those around him. Never missed an opportunity to tell you he had 5 daughters.Though he often claimed to be a singer in his own mind, it was his laughter and humor that truly made him sing in the hearts of those who knew him.

He now joins his father, Avery Burleson; grandson, Cody Rice; brothers, Ricky and Sherman Burleson, his son-in-law Luke Berry; and father and mother in-laws Albert and Peggy King in eternal rest. Yet, his legacy lives on through the love he shared with his surviving family: his devoted wife, Ramona Burleson; his beloved mother, Jane Burleson; and his daughters, Brandy Burleson, Michelle Scruggs and her significant other Bobby Freels, Crystal Blanton and her significant other Ricky Walker, Shaye Dase and her husband Bryan, and Heather Burleson.

Randy also leaves behind his sisters, Ann Sigmon and her husband Alan, and Ruby Carbajal and her husband Lido; his brother, Danny Burleson and his wife Sharon; his treasured grandchildren, Brooke, Jeffery, Austin, Makenzie, Jayln, Stephanie, Bridgett, Avery, Christopher, Casey, Gracie, Cayleigh, Layla, Tyler, Hunter, and Aubree; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Randy's life will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home. Friends and family are welcome to gather and share memories an hour prior to the service. The family will be gathering at the home of Crystal Blanton to pay their condolences and celebrate the life of a remarkable man who brought such joy to our lives.

Randy's vibrant spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved him. Let us honor his memory by embracing life with the same passion, humor, and zest that he did every day.
