BOILING SPRINGS- Mrs. Pauline Hamrick Waters, 88, of 315 W. College Ave., died Monday, April 23, 2007 at Crawley Memorial Hospital. A native of Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Carl J. and Addie Wells Hamrick. She was a retired LPN and was a member of Second Baptist Church.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Paul Eugene Waters and a sister, Ruth Cole.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Everett Lemuel Waters of Boiling Springs; two sons, Jack Waters and wife, Nora, of Shelby and David Waters and wife, Lisa, of Rock Hill, SC; two daughters, Mary Gillis and husband, Dale, of Charlotte and Sue Morrison of Spartanburg, SC; a brother, Howard Hamrick and wife, Daphine, of Clemmons; a sister, Lillie Roberts of W. Palm Beach, Fla; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Cleveland Memorial Park.
BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park
OFFICIATING CLERGY: Dr. Reginald Dawkins
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, 1114 S. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC 28152.
