SHELBY- Mr. Fred Mull, 87, 636 S. Post Road, went to be with his lord Saturday, October 6, 2007 at home. A native of Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Julius and Magel Poston Mull. He retired as a brick mason with A.A. Ramsey General Contractors. Fred was a faithful, lifelong member of Elizabeth Baptist Church.He was a WWII Navy veteran, serving aboard the USS LST 384 Battleship.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Ruby Green Mull; two brothers, Bryan Hogue Mull and Franklin Julius Mull; one sister, Thelma Ramona Mull

SURVIVORS: He is survived by two sons, Clevous Mull and wife Betty of New House, David Mull of Shelby; one daughter, Doris Whitworth and her husband Robert of Shelby; three grandchildren, Brandon Mull, Garrett Hardin and wife Michaela, Kelly McSwain and husband Doyle; two great grandchildren, Whitney and Clayton McSwain.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 10, 2007 10-11a.m. at Elizabeth Baptist Church and other times at the home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Elizabeth Baptist Church

BURIAL: Will follow in the church cemetery
