KINGS MOUNTAIN- Patrick “Gene” Eugene Slayton, 55, died Wed., Feb. 11, 2015, at Kings Mountain Hospice House. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Pascal and Margie Tomlin Slayton.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Clarence Tomlin
SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife, Betty Slayton of the home; step-son, Kevin Winbarger of Dallas, NC; daughter, Tracie Worley and husband Justin of Hickory; sisters, Susan Stewart and husband Clint of Kings Mountain, Candy Slayton of Shelby, Debra Perry and husband Ricky of Kings Mountain; brother, Charles “Randy” Slayton and partner Brad Bradway of Shelby; grandson, Hunter Worley of Hickory.
MEMORIAL SERVICES: 2pm, Sunday, at Sunrise Baptist Church
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church.
