BOILING SPRINGS- Mrs. Pat Holland, 54, of 109 Chestnut St., Boiling Springs, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Hospice at Wendover.
FUNERAL: Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Country Club Rd.
BURIAL: Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Friday, June 30, 2006 from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m., at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, Mike Bailey, 701 Billy’s Drive, Shelby.
LIE-IN-STATE: The body will be placed in the Relief Society Room of the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
PERSONAL HISTORY: Born in Iredell County to the late Guy Dalton and Connie Echerd Ward, she was a circulation supervisor at Cleveland County Memorial Library for 18 years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was also a graduate of Mars Hill College, earning her B.S. in Biology.

SURVIVORS: Mrs. Holland is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jim Holland of the home, three sons, Mike Bailey and wife, Cheryl of Shelby, Jamie Holland and wife, Delana, of Florida, and Andy Holland of Hendersonville; a daughter, Becky Davis and husband, Mike, of Easley, SC; a sister, Ann Lowery and husband, Tom, of Conover; three grandchildren, Melia Bailey of Shelby, Cross Davis of Easley, SC and Savannah Holland of Florida; two aunts, Lucy Echerd of Taylorsville and Eugenia Perkins of Greensboro; and an uncle, John Echerd of Ooltewah, TN.
