Pantha Brown

January 4, 1923 — July 6, 2014

SHELBY-Mary “Pantha” Sansing Brown, 91, went to be with her Lord, Sun., July 6, 2014, at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Blanton Sansing. She was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church for 62 years.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Wade Elliott and Bill Brown; son, Dennis Wade Elliott; three brothers; and six sisters

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving daughter, Gilda E. Martin and husband Steve; daughter-in-law, Jerry Elliott, all of Shelby; eight stepsons; one step-daughter; three grandchildren, Ty Bridges and wife Donna of Shelby, Melissa Herms and husband Todd of Maiden, Megan Elliott of Charlotte; several step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Tyler Bridges and wife Tiffany, Madison and Mia Herms; two great-great grandchildren, Aidan and Callie Bridges.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Monday, 7p.m., at Bethel Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 5:30-7p.m., prior to the service, at the church

CLERGY: Dr. Tim Sims

BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park, Tuesday, 10a.m.

MEMORIALS: Bethel Baptist Church youth Missions. 606 S. Dekalb St., Shelby, NC 28150
