Norma Harry

SHELBY- Norma Browning Harry, 91, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Lee Browning. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church, where she was active in the benevolence and grief committee for 20 years.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Harry Sr.; son, Thomas H. “Butch” Harry Jr.; daughter, Taffy Harry Carpenter; and grandson, Larry Smith.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Randy Gladden of Shelby; daughter, Sheila Bess and husband Rick of Gastonia; son-in-law, John Carpenter of Shelby; granddaughter, Michelle Crockett and husband Lamont; and great-grandchildren, Jazmin Ellis, Chelsea, Sierra, and Jacoby Crockett

FUNERSL SERVICE: Funeral services will be held 1pm, Friday, at Landmark Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church

BURIAL: will follow in Sunset Cemetery

CLERGY: Rev. Allen Davis will officiate
