SHELBY- Millicent “Millie” Morgan Greene, 87, died Friday, March 31, 2017, at Willow Ridge Nursing Center. A native of Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Dever and Leila Traylor Morgan.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.P. Greene Jr.; grandson, Shane Bowman, sisters, Ruth Pearson, Lee Morgan, Frances Bridges, Nell Morgan, Barbara Morgan, Sylvia Morgan, and Lily Mae Morgan; brothers, Joe Morgan and Bobby Morgan.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Eddie Greene and wife Rosa; daughter, Sherree Bowman and husband Randy, all of Shelby; great-grandchildren, Brianna Bowman and Lane Bowman of Shelby; grandson, Jason Ledbetter and wife Casey of Polkville; great-grandson, Michael Ledbetter; and sisters, Carolyn Absher of Spartanburg and Shirley Barton of Shelby.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home
MEMORIAL SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 2pm, Monday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel
OFFICIATING: The Rev. Mark Patchett will officiate
