SHELBY- Matt Watson, 37, of 222 College Ave., passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014. a native of Cleveland county, he was born July 15, 1977, son of Larry Watson and the late Wanda Jean Ledford Watson.
PRECEDED: in addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Rozee Watson.
SURVIVED: in addition to his father, he is survived by one sister, Deborah McAbee of Shelby; one niece, Megan McAbee; two aunts, Patsy Prichard and husband Gene of Shelby, Susan Clark and husband Chuck of Belmont; two uncles, Joe Ledford and wife Juanita, Larry Ledford and wife Christine all of Spruce Pine; and several cousins.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at 3pm Saturday in the Chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral home of Shelby.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at his father’s home, 222 College Ave. in Shelby.
