CHARLOTTE- Mrs. Mae D. Kendrick, 94, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at The Brian Center in Charlotte. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Lero and Stella Deviney Downs. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Shelby.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 73 years, Jim Kendrick; sister, Edna Southard; and brothers, Leonard and Ellis Downs.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving daughter, Gail K. Thompson and husband Larry of Charlotte.
SERVICES: Wednesday, 3pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
CLERGY: Rev. Tony Tench
BURIAL: A private burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery
MEMORIALS: Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150
FUNERAL HOME: Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
