Lois Kale

SHELBY-Lois F. Kale, 78, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ellen Martin Farris. She retired from Harris Teeter and was a former organist at Peach Street Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Kale Jr.; and son, Roy Kale III.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughter, Tammi Kale of Shelby; sister, Myrl McDonald of NY; granddaughter, Toni Mode and husband Gary of Mooresboro; great-granddaughter, Gracie Mode; and special friends, Rosie Weber and Pat Stewart.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11a.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6-7:30p.m., at the funeral home

BURIAL: Will follow in Sunset Cemetery
