SHELBY-Linda Goins Lowery English, 65, of Pleasant Hill Church Rd., died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late James and Hazel Hayes Blanton. She retired after many years of service at Baxter Corp.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husband’s, Dennis Lowery and Ross English.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Goins Hartman and husband Tony, and Charlene Lowery; son, Dwayne Goins and wife Leigh Ann, all of Shelby; sisters, Robbie Hunt and husband Wayne of Shelby, and Cathy Blanton Oliver and husband Tim of Grover; grandchildren, Ashley, T.J., and Kyle Hartman, Bradley, Brandon, and Cassidy Goins; former spouse, Wayne Goins of Shelby; and many special nieces.

SERVICES: Monday, 3PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Monday, 2-3PM, at funeral home.
