KINGS MOUNTAIN- Linda Crotts, born on February 4, 1949, in Cleveland County, NC, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, at the age of 77, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was a beacon of love and care, dedicating her life to nurturing others. Her compassionate spirit and unwavering dedication to those she loved defined her journey. As a valued member of the HR team at Pathways Group, she touched countless lives with her kindness and professionalism.
Her passion for beauty found expression in her love for flower arranging and planting. Through each bloom she nurtured, she reminded us of the simple joys and the profound beauty that nature offers.
A devoted member of Patterson Grove Baptist Church, Linda's faith was a guiding light, fostering a strong sense of community and support among her fellow congregants.
Linda's heart belonged to her beloved family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Ada Burton, and her daughter, Cheree Murphy. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family: her devoted husband, Jerry Crotts, her cherished son, Kevin Farris (Shannah), her adored grandson, Grey Goines, and her precious great-grandchildren, Emma, Rylan, and Eli.
Throughout her life, Linda exemplified what it means to be a caregiver, always putting others before herself and dedicating her time to ensuring the well-being and happiness of her loved ones. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel special and valued, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be announced at a later date, as family and friends come together to honor an extraordinary woman whose legacy of love, care, and beauty will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In this time of sorrow, we remember Linda's life not only for the years she lived but for the profound and loving legacy she left behind. She will be deeply missed and eternally cherished.
