SHELBY- Leola Dyer Hoyle, 92, formerly of South Post Road, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Holly Springs Senior Home in Rutherfordton, NC. A native of Cleveland County, she was born June 26, 1919, daughter of the late John and Ella Griffin Dyer. She was a member of Clearview Baptist Church in Grover.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Hoyle; two sons, Wayne R. Hoyle and Ritchie Hoyle; nine brothers and sisters.
SURVIVED: She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Bush of Inman, SC and Myra Davis of Tryon, NC; five grandchildren, Neil Hoyle of Hickory, NC, Ricky Hoyle, Amanda Snow both of Shelby, Suzanne Bush and Brett Bush both of Inman, SC; six great grandchildren.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Monday at Corinth Baptist Church in Caser, NC.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 pm Monday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby
CLERGY: Jim McIntyre will conduct the service.
BURIAL: Burial will be in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
