Kenneth "Ken" Wyatt
June 22, 1945 — March 13, 2009
SHELBY- Mr. Kenneth Wyatt, 63, of 516 Circle Drive E., died Friday, March 13, 2009 at home. A native of Cherokee County, SC, he was the son of the late Hillard and Eunice Gray Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt retired from Kings Plus and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
PRECEDED IN DEATH:. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth Wyatt; two sisters and a brother.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by a son, Kenneth Wayne Wyatt of Gaffney; two sisters, Linda Beaver and husband, Larry, and Bernice Estes and husband, Cliff, all of Gaffney; a brother, Edward “Buck” Wyatt and wife, Pat, of Inman, SC; and a granddaughter, Angela Holmes, of Gaffney, SC.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 14, 2009 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and other times at the home.
SERVICE: The funeral will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at New Prospect Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service.
INTERMENT: Burial will immediately follow in Cleveland Memorial Park
CLERGY: The Rev. Michael Gantt will be officiating.
