SHELBY-Kenneth “Ken” Goode, 71, of Second St., died Sat., Nov. 1, 2014, at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Robert and Nellie Humphries Goode. Ken was a member and deacon of Fellowship Baptist Church.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four brothers; and two sisters.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Gilda Humphries Goode, of the home; three sons, Jimmy Goode of Earl, Kenny and Dale Goode, both of Shelby; two daughters, Carol Wright and husband Dale of Polkville, and Theresa Eguia of Shelby; sister, Linda May of Cliffside; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: Tuesday, 3p.m., at Fellowship Baptist Church
VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Monday, 6-7:30p.m., at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at his home.
BURIAL: Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery
