SHELBY-Juanita Howe Rector, 88, died Sun., Jan. 1, 2017, at Carolinas Healthcare System-Cleveland. A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late John and Lila May Chatham Howe. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Earl Rector; son, Charles “Danny” Rector; and eleven brothers and sisters.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her sister-in-law, Gretchel Turner and husband Jerry of Dale City, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
VIEWING: Viewing of Mrs. Rector will be Wednesday, 9:30-10am, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home
GRAVESIDE FUNERAL SERVICES: Graveside funeral services will be 11am, Wednesday, at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.
OFFICIATING: Dr. J. Barry Goodman and Rev. Johnny Owens will officiate
