SHELBY- Mr. Joseph “Joe” Conrad Miller, 57, of 2070 Biggers Lake Rd., died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at home. A native of Burke County, he was the son of the late Victor and Elsie Freeman Miller. Joseph was in the landscaping business and attended Patterson Springs Baptist Church.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Miller.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by a son, Joey Miller of Statesville; two daughters, Jamie Miller of Morganton and Jennifer Miller and fiancé Randy Eddins of Statesville; two sisters, Barbara Rogers and husband, Joe and Vicki Taylor and husband, Clayton, all of Morganton; three grandchildren, Patience Miller, Caleb Dunbar, and Shianne Eddins; and special friends, Pam Miller, Danny Blanton, and Lewis Young.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Patterson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
INTERMENT: Burial will immediately follow in Patterson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
CLERGY: The Rev. Steve Waters will be officiating.
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to The Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, Florida 33607
