Johnny Smith

SHELBY – Mr. Johnny Guy Smith, 66, of 2226 O.G. Lail Rd., died Tues., July 23, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late James Yates and Bertha Wright Smith. He was a faithful member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Robbie and Jamie Smith; two sisters; and four brothers.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Debbie Hambright Smith; daughter, Caitlin Smith, both of the home; two sisters, Donnis Allen and husband Roy of Mooresboro, and Revonda Humphries of Boiling Springs; two brothers, Billy Smith of Boiling Springs, and Freddie Smith and wife Wanda of Bostic; mother-in-law, Katherine Wood and husband Carl; and sister-in-law, Donna Coleman, all of Shelby.

SERVICES: Friday, 2PM, at Flint Hill Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Friday, 12-2PM, at the church, and other times at his home.
