SHELBY: John “Norris” Brooks, 84, died Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Fair Haven Nursing Center of Forest City. A native of Cleveland County, Norris was the son of the late Broy and Mozelle Lee Brooks. He was a member of New Beginnings Church and worked for the Dover Mill. No formal services are planned at this time. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and Aquamation Center in Shelby
