Joann Lineberry

April 7, 1935 — August 23, 2014

KINGS MOUNTAIN-Joann Caveny Lineberry, 79, of Horseshoe Lane, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at her home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late John Caveny Sr. and Ruth McGinnis Caveny. She retired from Pathways in Gastonia and was a member of Advent Lutheran Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. The family would like to thank her church family and friends for all their love and support during her sickness.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David James Caveny.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Glenn Lineberry, of the home; sons, Jonathan G. Lineberry of Dewitt, MI, Stephen H. Lineberry and wife Vickey of Gastonia; daughter, Beth Smith and husband Mark of Moneta, VA; brother, John Caveny Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Jessica O’Donohue and husband Brian of Gastonia, Alexander Lineberry of Dewitt, MI, Jacob Lineberry and Abigail Lineberry of Gastonia.

SERVICES: Wednesday, 11a.m., at Boyce Memorial A R Presbyterian Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church

BURIAL: Mountain Rest Cemetery

CLERGY: Rev. Marty Ramey
