SHELBY-James “Jimmy” Irvin Medlin, 60, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, in Reidsville. A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Irvin and Betty Huss Medlin. He worked as an automotive mechanic for many years.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Stillwell; and wife Debbie Medlin.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his fiancée, Reva Elbertson, of Reidsville; daughter, Teresa Medlin Douglas and husband Paul; son, Michael Stillwell, James Stillwell and wife Tracey, Chris Medlin, Dwayne Medlin and fiancée Linda Bodenheimer, all of Shelby; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; special aunt, Pat Bright of Kings Mountain; special uncle, Jack Huss of Shelby.
SERVICES: Thursday, 11a.m., at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Wednesday, 6-7:30p.m., at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home
