KINGS MOUNTAIN- Mrs. Janice Royster McCluney, 49, of 103 Range Rd., died Friday, August 24, 2007 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. She was a daughter of the late James A. Royster, Sr., and Helen S. Royster of Shelby. Regrettably, her husband, Sammy E. McCluney, died on Monday, August 20, 2007.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother, James Royster, Jr. and wife, Suzanne, of Waco; and two sisters, Vicki Denton of South Carolina and Nancy Roeder and husband, Steve, of Florida.
Sammy and Janice are survived by a son, Christopher McCluney of Shelby; a daughter, Nichole McCluney of Shelby; and six grandchildren, Ashley McCluney, Sky McCluney, Christopher McCluney, Patrick McCluney, Summer Clark and Breanna Comer. They were both blessed by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends for Sammy and Janice on Monday, August 27, 2007 from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be at 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2007 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made on behalf of the family to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
