Janice Bronson

SHELBY- Janice Patterson Bronson, 74, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Epsie Greene Patterson. Janice retired after 42 years at Dicey Mill, and was a member of New Bethel Church of Shelby. Her family meant the world to her.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Bronson; daughter, Angie Ray; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Lemons; and sisters, Dessie, Shirley, Peggy, Hilda, Patricia, and Brenda.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughter, Tina Tomlin and husband Donald; son-in-law, Bob Ray; grandchildren, Dana Wink and husband Chris, Nikki Lemons and husband John, Andy Ray, and D.J. Tomlin; great-grandchildren, Brittany Wink, Regan Bronson, Alexis Lemons, Callie Wink, and Bentley Lemons; and special friend, Linda Allen, all of Shelby.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Friday, 2p.m., at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Friday, 12:30-2p.m., at the funeral home, and other times at the home.

BURIAL: Sunset Cemetery
