SHELBY- Rev. James W. Holtz, 96, went to be with his Lord, Monday, August 13, 2018, at his home. A native of Harrison Co., W.Va., he was the son of the late Clovas and Lucy Grace Jenkins Holtz. He served in the Army during WWII, and served his Lord, as a minister, for many years.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 73 years, Ava Myer Holtz; and four brothers and sisters.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his son, Ed Holtz and wife Theresa of Shelby; daughter, Saundra Fuller of VA., sister, May Sutton of OH., four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends 12:30-1:15pm, Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
GRAVESIDE FUNERAL SERVICES: A graveside service will held 1:30pm, Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Sunset Cemetery, with military honor’s
