Irene Ledford

BOILING SPRINGS- Mrs. Irene Black Ledford, 90, of 124 Green Ave., died Monday, April 15, 2013 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Gainsville, GA., she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Clara Ivey Black. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church, where she and her husband Andrew, looked after the church for many years.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rhonda Green Crotts; five sisters; and three brothers.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Andrew Ledford, of the home; son, Mike Russ of Grover; two daughters, Hazel R. Tessenair and husband Bob of New House, Peggy R. McSwain of Boiling Springs; brother, Roy Black of Shelby; and grandson, Michael Crotts of New House.

SERVICES: Wednesday, 3PM, at Zoar Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Wednesday, 1:30-3PM, at the church, and other times at her home.
