SHELBY- Mr. Horace “Pineknot” Murray, 81, born December 5, 1930, the Lord took him home November 18, 2012.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, of 61 years; five sons, Larry (Donna), Jerry (Lissa), Bass (Denise), Monk, Mason (Penny); one daughter, Sherry Jane (Rev. Donald White); 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; 19 step great grandchildren.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held Wednesday, 2 pm at Crestview Baptist Church.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
BURIAL: A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Fellowship Baptist Church.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sherry White, PO Box 203, Earl, NC 28038.
