SHELBY- Mrs. Helen Hull Martin, 71, died Tuesday, Jan, 2, 2007 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.
PERSONAL HISTORY: Mrs. Martin was born in Cleveland Co., daughter to the late John W. and Mary Morrison Hull. She retired after 26 years of service at the Shelby Café. She was a member of Shelby Free Will Baptist Church.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Bill” Martin; her four brothers, Woodrow, Eugene, James, and Bobby Gene Hull; and two sisters, Maudie Poston and Pauline Walker.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by a sister, Myrtle Bell of Shelby; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Saturday, January 6, 2006 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Saturday, January 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
BURIAL: Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
