LAWNDALE- Ms. Hazel Diane Barnett, 53, of Lawndale, died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
PERSONAL HISTORY: A native of Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Ruth Hamrick Barnett. She was employed at Walmart.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Hamrick.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband, Charles ”Randy” Baxter of the home; two sons, Gary Dean Sullens and Travis Randall Baxter, both of the home; two daughters, Angela Denise Fielder of Kings Mountain and Christie Dawn Sullens of the home; a sister, Debbie Plotast and husband, Richard, of Murrells Inlet, SC; three brothers, Wendell Hamrick and Royce Hamrick and wife, Linda, all of Shelby and Robert Barnett of Newton; and nine grandchildren.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
BURIAL: Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev. Reed Jones
