BOILING SPRINGS- Mrs. Hannah Victoria Blanton Deaton, 78, of 1802 Patrick Ave., passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 at Crawley Memorial Hospital. A native of Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late William Clifton and Cora Jane Royster Blanton. She was retired from FASCO Industries and was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Deaton loved her grandchildren, loved quilting and the Atlanta Braves.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Deaton, a daughter, Johnnie Ray Deaton, seven brothers, two sisters, and a grandson, Rodney Deaton.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by two sons, Steve Deaton of Shelby, and Mike Deaton and wife, Patty, of Boiling Springs; two daughters, Linda Ledford and husband, Clifford, of Boiling Springs and Faye Morgan of Lattimore; a sister, Marjorie Hamilton of Boiling Springs; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Mike Deaton, 119 Green Ave., Boiling Springs.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Flint Hill Baptist Church.
LIE-IN-STATE: The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service.
BURIAL: Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
