Grady Woods

KINGS MOUNTAIN-Grady Woods Jr., 71, died Tues., Mar. 3, 2015, at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Grady and Flossie Woods Sr. He worked many years with the Shelby Police Department, later working for NC Department of Corrections. He was a member of Penley Chapel in Kings Mountain.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Cline Woods, of the home; daughters, Christine Teague and Amber Oliver and husband Jared, all of Grover; step-daughter, Amanda McDowell and husband Troy of Philadelphia, PA; sisters, Shelby Kirkendall of Ga., Priscilla Woods Gantt and husband Bill of Florence, SC, and Phyllis Woods Mosteller and husband Gene of Lawndale; and two grandchildren.

MEMORIAL SERVICES: Friday, 11a.m., at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain

VISITATION: The family will receive friends following the service, at the funeral home.
